The Primary Table is the tray that holds the laptop computer.  We recommend that you select a size that closely matches your notebook computer's dimensions.  It is not necessary to have extra space on your Primary Table as the non-skid pad prevents your laptop from sliding.  If extra space is needed add a Side Table to your order.
